Vaccinations
For Puppies At Age:
6-8 weeks
Physical exam, fecal test, vaccinations for distemper virus, parvovirus,
parainfluenza, adenovirus, and medication for treatment of intestinal
parasites.
9-12 weeks
Physical exam, fecal test, vaccinations for distemper virus, parvovirus,
parainfluenza, adenovirus, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. Rabies vaccinations
can be given at 12 weeks of age or older.
13-16 weeks
Physical exam, fecal test, vaccinations for distemper, parvovirus, parainfluenza,
adenovirus, and leptospirosis, lyme disease, medication for treatment
of intestinal parasites. Other vaccines such as kennel cough can be given
depending on the risk for your dog.
For Adult
Dogs:
We recommend yearly
physical exams, updating of needed vaccines and blood tests for the screening
of diseases such as heartworm and lyme disease.
For Kittens
At Age:
6-8 weeks
Physical exam, fecal examination, vaccinations for panleukopenia (distemper)
virus, calcivirus, chlamydia, and rhinotracheitis, testing for feline
leukemia/feline aids virus, and vaccination for these viruses if your
cat is at risk, treatmentment for intestinal parasites
10 weeks
Physical exam, second feline aids vaccine, treatment for intestinal parasites
12 weeks and 16
weeks
Physical exam, vaccinations for panleukopenia (distemper) virus, calcivirus,
rhinotracheitis, vaccination for feline leuemia/aids virus, vaccination
for rabies, fecal examination. Other vaccines such as bordatella, (kennel
cough) may be given depending on your cat's risk.
For Adult
Cats:
We recommend yearly
physical exams, updating vaccines as needed and blood tests for the screening
of diseases.
Vaccination
recommendations are based on your individual pet's requirements and may
be changed or modified as the risks change throughout your pet's life.
The Veterinarian will discuss what vaccines are recommended for our pet
during the physical exam.
